DOQ Priorat
Grape varieties: Garnacha and Cariñena.
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
Winemaking: Traditional vinification; fermentation at 28 C followed by 15 to 20 days of maceration to achieve optimal colour and structure. The wine is then transferred to barrels, where it is kept on its lees throughout the ageing process.
Ageing: at least twelve months in French and American oak barrels, followed by further ageing in the bottle.
Vineyard: This plot is located in La Morera de Montsant, in the areas known as Mas de l’Abella and Santes Gates, one of the finest areas for vine-growing. It lies at an altitude of 400 metres, with llicorella slate and clay-limestone soils. The vineyard is planted with Garnacha and Cariñena vines.
Line: Crianza
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
Vista: De color cirera brillant.
Nas: Aroma floral i delicat.
Boca: Afruitat, fresc i molt persistent.
Ideal per tota mena de carn, formatges i també per algun peix amb greix.
